If you ask my husband how he sees me, he would certainly reply “With her laptop always on…always working on something new either for her job or for her hobbies.”

Thinking about myself, here are the keywords I would use to describe me:

  • In love with challenges
  • Passionate about newness and creativity
  • Enthusiastic and welcoming
  • Fond of reading, learning new skills, growing competencies.

A Little Bit About Me

I have a degree in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Siena.

I dreamt of working as Ambassador or for an Non-Governmental Organization in the field of international cooperation.

But in 2000, at the age of 24, I met the guy who then became my husband and everything changed as he would have never followed me around the world.

For 16 years I have been working for the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro – a Bank belonging to the BNP Paribas Group, where I have been employed as:

  • clerk of the Florence Foreign Office,
  • Lean Six Sigma Project Leader whose duty was to draw regular and standardized work processes,

Since May 2010 I have been working for the Human Resources Department, at first as HR Consultant (2010-2012), then as HR Advisor (2012-2016) and today as HR Business Partner.

As HRBP, I have the HR responsibility of the Toscana and Umbria Region (645 people). To develop employees’ engagement and create team building, I keep my imagination alive and invent lots of things such as Mentoring Projects and Cooking Class Completions.

Thinking of who I am now, I have to say THANK YOU to:

  • My parents, they taught me how to face challenges and fears and never give up;
  • My group of Scout who coached me the love for nature and the outdoor life, the respect for diversities, the openness toward others and their needs, the importance of essentiality.

Together with them, I began volunteering and since then I have never stopped.

Since 2005 I have been cooperating as a volunteer by the catholic foster home “Amore e Libertà” based in Florence, where 7 abandoned children live.

In 2005 I also experienced one month of charity work by their African Mission based in Kinshasa (Congo).
