Consent & Participation Guidelines
1. Respect the Flow of Conversation
Please be mindful of the conversation before posting.
When someone shares an announcement, question, or update, give it a chance to be seen and acknowledged before changing the subject with unrelated content. Think of this group as a shared virtual “salotto”, not a fast-moving news feed.
If your message isn’t urgent and isn’t connected to the ongoing conversation, consider waiting a little before posting.
To help keep the chat organized, please reply privately (via direct message) when a response only concerns one person.
Please also avoid forwarding or reposting another member’s announcement unless they’ve specifically asked you to do so.
2. Keep Posts Relevant
Keep discussions related to:
WIN activities and events
Community life
Mutual support and collaboration
Your events, projects, or opportunities that may interest the community (not third party events, etc.)
Questions and seeking advice, recommendations, or support
Exchanging useful information and resources
Celebrating personal milestones and special moments
Encouraging, inspiring, and uplifting one another
Please avoid excessive self-promotion, chain messages, spam, or unrelated forwarded content.
3. Communicate with Kindness and Respect
Differences of opinion are normal and welcome. Respect is essential.
Please avoid:
Aggressive or dismissive language
Personal attacks or public shaming
Repeated arguments that do not move the conversation forward
Passive-aggressive comments
Gossip about other members
Whenever possible, assume positive intent and approach conversations with empathy.
4. Respect Privacy
Please do not share screenshots, private messages, phone numbers, photos, or other personal information from this group outside the group without the person’s permission.
Trust is one of the foundations of a healthy community.
5. Be Thoughtful with Media and Posting Frequency
To keep the group enjoyable and easy to follow:
Please do not send voice notes.
Avoid posting excessively in a short period of time.
Don’t flood the chat with multiple images, GIFs, or videos.
For example, if you’re sharing a property for rent or sale, post a single photo and invite interested members to contact you directly for additional information and pictures.
Clear and concise posts are appreciated. More isn’t always better.
(WIN party photos and videos may be the one exception to this rule!)
6. Urgent Announcements
From time to time, group administrators may need to prioritize important organizational communications. In those situations, essential messages may take precedence over regular conversation.
7. Moderation Process
Our goal is always to maintain a positive, welcoming, and useful space for everyone.
If a member repeatedly ignores these guidelines, the following process may apply:
Step 1: Friendly Reminder
An admin will offer a gentle reminder, either privately or in the group.
Step 2: Formal Warning
If the issue continues, the member will receive a direct message explaining the concern more clearly.
Step 3: Removal from the Group
Repeated violations or behavior that seriously disrupts the community may result in removal from the WhatsApp group.
This is not intended as a punishment, but as a way to protect the atmosphere and purpose of the community.

The quality of this group depends on all of us.
By participating with patience, awareness, and respect, we can create a space where people feel welcome, heard, supported, and inspired.
