WIN Annual Member's Fair
Celebrating Women, Ideas and Community Since 2014
Held every February since 2014, the Annual WIN Members’ Fair is one of the Women’s International Network’s most anticipated traditions. It brings together members, friends, and the wider Florence community for an evening of connection, inspiration, discovery, and giving back.
The Members’ Fair shines a spotlight on the extraordinary women of WIN: business owners, professionals, creatives, charity supporters, and passionate members with ideas and projects to share. It is an opportunity to meet the people behind the services, initiatives, and talents that make our community so diverse.
Meet, Discover and Connect
Each year, the Members’ Fair welcomes approximately presenters, who get on stage to talk to us about their initiative, and they have the option of using a display space. Visitors can explore a wide range of member-led businesses, services, charities, hobbies, and creative endeavours in a relaxed and friendly setting.
Presenters are provided with a small desk area of approximately 60 cm x 60 cm to create an engaging display. Although direct sales are not permitted at the Fair, participants are welcome to share brochures, samples, videos, giveaways, demonstrations, and information about their work.
The evening also includes a buffet apericena with finger foods, wine, and water—creating plenty of time to socialise, make new connections, and support fellow members.
A Fair With Purpose
Giving back is a permanent part of the Annual Members’ Fair. Every year, WIN selects a Florence-based local organisation whose work supports the community, and raffle proceeds are donated to that chosen cause.
The charity raffle is made possible by the generosity of our presenters, who contribute prizes connected to their businesses or services, as well as WIN members who wish to donate a gift. Prizes may include experiences, consultations, products, vouchers, and services.
Raffle tickets are available during each year’s Fair, helping visitors enjoy the event while contributing to a meaningful local initiative. You do not need to be a presenter to donate a prize, and every contribution helps make a difference.
Share Your Story
WIN members can take part by either hosting a display space or delivering a short oral presentation… or both!
These elevator pitches are limited to two minutes and offer an effective way to introduce a business, project, service, or cause to the room.
The programme includes up to 20 display tables and 25 oral presentations, giving selected participants a moment in the spotlight while keeping the event engaging, varied, and social.
Participation in the Fair offers valuable visibility through WIN communications and provides a welcoming environment to grow professional relationships, share ideas, and celebrate what our members do best. The participation fee includes a nominal administrative fee and admission to the official WIN meeting. (and all the raffle tickets you want to buy!)
Join Us in February
WIN members who participate in the Fair also receive access to two live, 45-minute tutorials designed to help you make the most of the opportunity: one on how to craft and confidently present an effective elevator pitch, and another on how to strengthen and make the most of your online presence.
Participants will be featured on the WIN website and in the WIN newsletter. At official WIN meetings, participating members will also receive a special name tag, making it easy for others to recognize you, your business, professional service, hobby, or charitable work.
The Fair offers more than visibility. It is a welcoming opportunity to introduce yourself to the WIN community, build professional relationships, exchange ideas, discover what other members are doing, and celebrate the diverse talents and initiatives within our network.
